1: Objective: Students should know the reason why we are learning about how our body works and what standard this applies to.
2: Information: Students should already have a brief understanding of how a human digestive tract works, how blood travels through our body, and how our body creates energy.
3: Safety: Students will need to review fieldtrip and bus rules so that we may minimize any inappropriate behaviors during the trip.

-Write a poem about an important organ that our body uses
All students will also write thank you letters to the California Science Center.
In groups of 5-6 students will create a power point presentations in regards to their fieldtrip experience.

The California Science Center offers fun and informative permanent exhibits presented in interactive worlds. However, you can also experience a wonderful science adventure through their IMAX experience. Their "seven-story IMAX screen—the largest in Los Angeles—brings to life worlds as small as an atom and as vast as the universe." Not only can you visit the exhibits but for a small price you can experience an IMAX movie and get the big picture.
